Efter alle farvellerne, kørte vi sydpå i retning af Kangaroo Island. Men for at vi ikke skulle køre alt for meget i en omgang, fandt vi i stedet en campsite ved Rapid Bay den første nat.
After all the goodbyes we drove South, towards Kangaroo Island. We didn't want to drive too far, so we found a campsite in Rapid Bay for the first night.

Tirsdag morgen hoppede vi så på færgen til Kangaroo Island.

Et stop ved Vivonne Bay - Sussi og Per var en tur i bølgerne, for at blive kølet af.

Meget vigtigt at holde drikkevarerne (aka øllerne) kolde! Man skal jo have godt med væske i varmen :)

Sidste stop inden færgen tilbage til fastlandet - tid til pandekager. Mums, mums :)
Havde endnu et stop, i Belair National Park, tæt på Adelaide, inden vi skulle aflevere bilen, sige farvel til Sussi (snøft) og flyve tilbage til Perth. Hjemturen, som skulle have taget tre en halv time, blev i stedet en næsten otte timers tur, pga uvejr i Perth. Så efter at have cirkuleret og ventet i en times tid, måtte vi flyve til Geraldton for at flyet kunne blive tanket, inden vi så kunne komme tilbage til Perth, hvor uvejret heldigvis var drevet over. Overnattede i Perth og kørte dagen efter, som søndagen, så retur til Jerramungup, efter en rigtig dejlig uge! :)

We had a night in Belair National Park, near Adelaide, before we had to get the car back, say goodbye to Sussi and fly back to Perth. The trip home, was supposed to be a three and a half hour flight, but ended up taking almost eight hours, because of bad weather in Perth. After waiting for about an hour, for the weather to improve, we had to fly to Geraldton to refuel the plane, before we finally could get back to Perth, where the weather was getting better. We stayed the night in Perth and headed back to Jerramungup the day after, sunday, after a really lovely week! :)
